After about an hour of experimenting with a new-to-me analog camcorder, I made this video feedback creature, and it got a nice self-sustaining rhythm going. Not sure if/when it will resolve to a steady state, but it's been doing cool stuff for a while now. Camcorder + in-camera effects + Edirol V4.

Exploring the Neighborhood

Video Bleep is a mobile "full-dome" video/art installation, housed inside a 30ft diameter dome tent.

Inside, the audience can rest on benches, stare at the ceiling, and be engulfed by undulating video. A 5-foot-tall joystick is used to trigger and manipulate custom software designed by the Video Bleep team.

The project was designed, fundraised, and built over the course of 2012-2013 and culminated in display at Burning Man 2013.
